Little Lowell and I usually get to the Phoenix Zoo once a week. This week we had a few guests; Lowell, Little Lowell's cousin, Bryce and his Grandma Erin decided to join us. We had never fed the giraffes before, so we knew it was time for this experience.
It was unbelievable to see the beauty of the giraffes up close and how gentle they were in eating the food. Little Lowell was a bit rowdy having to wait, but calmed down once he could get close.
The zookeepers got us set up with the Grandma giraffe, since apparently she would be the calmest for Little Lowell and Bryce.
Little Lowell and Bryce have so much fun whenever they hang out together. They love following each other around and seeing what the other one is up to.
With warm weather in the air, the zoo has opened up their splash pad zones for the little ones.
Being a new experience, the boys were a little hesitant at first but they got into it pretty quickly
As the weather gets hotter, the splash pads become a major part of any zoo activities
After a few hours at the zoo, the boys were asleep before we got out of the parking lot. We had a great time and plan to go back soon.
